Robert Lucy is a dedicated visual artist who has maintained a daily studio practice for over 35 years.
Robert studied under renowned painter Ed Paschke at Northwestern University and earned both his BFA (1988) and MFA (1990) in Painting from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
In addition to his Paradise Suite drawings, he creates commissioned portraits, still lifes, and landscapes with the same layered precision and emotional depth.
Robert lives and works in Woodstock, New York, with his husband, writer-performer Chris Wells. Together they are the co-founders of The Secret City, a celebrated arts organization.
